We offer the following cosmetic treatments, including:

• Bridges
• Crowns
• Dental Implants
• Dentures

A dental bridge is used to replace a missing tooth or teeth. Your neighboring teeth are crowned, and used as anchoring teeth to support the replacement tooth. It is important to replace missing teeth to avoid shifting of surrounding teeth and other dental issues.

Dental bridges are custom-made to match your natural teeth. They can be made from gold, metal, alloys or porcelain to ensure that they are strong and durable. With appropriate care, your dental bridges will last for years.

If you are missing a tooth, call our office to schedule a consultation. Besides the aesthetic disadvantage of missing a tooth, if left untreated, structural changes to your mouth and jaw may occur, making it difficult to eat and speak properly.

Over time, our teeth begin to weaken and become more susceptible to problems such as decay, cracks or discoloration. If you feel your smile isn’t what it once was, crowns can help you to restore your smile. Crowns are used to renew the appearance and function of a tooth. Also, they are often used in conjunction with root canal therapy, dental implants or as an anchor for a bridge.

Crowns are typically made from porcelain in order to maintain a natural appearance. The process of placing a crown may take 2-3 office visits. Once the treatment is complete, you will be able to enjoy your new smile for many years with proper at home care and regular office visits.

Dental Implants
A dental implant is a post, which is placed into the bone to provide a long-term solution for tooth loss. Once placed, the implant receives a crown. Implants closely resemble natural teeth and can completely restore your smile and substantially improve your oral health.

Dr. Berley’s team includes a surgeon who specializes in the placement of implants into the bone upon which Dr. Berley can construct a special implant crown. Modern technology minimizes any discomfort associated with receiving a dental implant. Our implant surgeon is trained and certified in sedation dentistry. This allows for a very relaxed and comfortable experience, for even the most fearful patients.

There are many factors that Dr. Berley will consider prior to recommending a dental implant, including: adequate bone support, healthy gum tissue, overall health, and sinus and nerve location.

Dentures are recommended for those who wish to replace all or most of their teeth. They are custom-made to provide a natural appearance and comfortable fit in your mouth. Our dentures will restore your appearance and confidence, which will allow you to smile freely.

Depending on each individual case, patients may receive full or partial dentures:

Conventional Full Dentures – Dr. Berley may determine that removing all of your teeth is necessary to improve your oral health. Once your teeth are removed, we must wait about 2-3 months for your gums to heal from the extractions. When your dentures are placed in your mouth, denture realignments will be required as your mouth heals. We strive to make this process comfortable for you.

Immediate Full Dentures – Immediate dentures are placed instantly after your teeth are removed. Immediate full dentures are recommended for those who have suffered from tooth decay, gum disease or dental injuries. This process eliminates the wait time for healing without teeth. Follow-up appointments will have to be made to adjust your immediate dentures during the healing process and a complete reline of the immediate denture is usually necessary once the tissues have reached their final shape at the end of the healing process.

Partial Dentures – Partial dentures are used to replace several missing teeth. Partial dentures prevent shifting of the other teeth.

Dental implants can be used to support your dentures.
